Congratulations to all gymnasts who competed at the Rhythmic Gymnastics Levels 3-6 Chatswood Invitational held on 20-21 August at Chatswood Leisure Centre, Chatswood.
 
Special mention:
 
      Elizabeth Collins (Level 3 Sub Junior) placed 2nd in Freehand, =5th in Rope and 6th overall;
      Alina Onis (Level 3 Sub Junior) placed 6th in Hoop; and
      Sophie Palmer (Level 6 Senior) placed 5th in Ball, 5th in Ribbon and 6th overall.

There was a lot of improvement overall, but let's get back to the gym and continue to even work harder.
 
 
Thank you also to the parents and gymnasts, who dedicated her time to supporting and encouraging our gymnasts. Also to Coach Candice for volunteering.



Congratulations to all gymnasts who competed at the Rhythmic Gymnastics Levels 3-6 Greenacre Invitational held on 6-7 August at Holy Saviour School, Greenacre.
 
Special mention:
 
      Alina Onis (Level 3 Sub Junior) placed 5th in Freehand and 4th in Rope;
      Cassandra Davies (Level 4 Sub Junior) placed 6th in Ribbon;
      Janice Ye (Level 4 Sub Junior) placed 2nd in Freehand;
      Caitlin Bernardo (Level 4 Junior) placed 2nd in Freehand, 5th in Hoop, 4th in Ribbon and 3rd overall;
      Mali Alexiou (Level 5 Senior) placed 6th in Ball; and
      Sophie Palmer (Level 6 Senior) placed 6th in Ball and 6th in Ribbon.

 

There were some beautiful routines performed, but overall, let's get back to the gym and continue to work harder. We have high expectations for you all, and now is the time to buckle down and continue making leaps forward.

Congratulations to all Foundation Novice and Competition National Levels 3-6 gymnasts who competed at the Club PERÓ In-House Meet held on 11 June at TARA Anglican School for Girls.
 
The coaches are proud of the way the gymnasts performed on the floor, and are excited to continue working towards the End of Term Open Classes and commencement of the competition season later in the year. We were thrilled with the progress of all gymnasts at this stage of the year, especially with the expression and confidence shown in the Novice gymnasts outines and National Levels 3-6 skill testing. There is a lot of work to do, but we are sure the gymnasts are ready for it!
 
 
Thank you also to the parents and gymnasts, who dedicated their time to volunteering at the meet ... as well as the AMAZING coaching team and all families who attended the event over the Queen's Birthday Long Weekend. 



Congratulations to our Senior Levels gymnasts Natasha Hopman, Jesse Kidd, Stephanie Peacock, Alexandra Slater (Level 7 OPEN); Elliott Ainslie-Miley, Mikki Poon (Level 8 OPEN); and Belinda Nixon (Level 9 OPEN) who have competed at the RG Levels 7-10 SMC Invitation, RG Levels 7-10 State Trial #1 and #2 held at Sydney Gymnastics and Aquatic Centre, Rooty Hill in Term 1, 2016.

 

All girls have greatly improved in their performances, and a huge congratulations to Natasha, Jesse, Alexandra, Mikki and Belinda on their results at the RG Senior State Championships held over the weekend on 16-17 April 2016.

 

Special mention to:


     Alexandra Slater (Level 7 OPEN) placed 20th in Rope and Hoop; and
     Belinda Nixon (Level 9 OPEN) placed 8th in Rope and Hoop.
 
Team Event Placings :
 
      Level 7 OPEN Team (Natasha Hopman, Jesse Kidd and Alexandra Slater) placed 6th overall.

Congratulations to Natasha Hopman, Jesse Kidd and Stephanie Peacock who were featured in the Northern District Times and the Parramatta Advertiser this month for their achievements at the RG Levels 3-6 Junior State Championships in October 2015. We are very proud of you all!

Congratulations to all junior gymnasts who performed at the Yotala Gymnastics Princess Cup Event held on 15 November at Yotala Gymnasium, Minto.
 
For all of these gymnasts it was their first time performing in front of an audience outside of our own gymnasium. We are very proud that you tried your very best and smiled at the audience. 
 
Thank you to all parents for the support and encourage of your daughter's, as well as Senior gymnast Stephanie Peacock who assisted Head Coach Rachel and Coach Sarah on the day.



Congratulations to all gymnasts who repersented their school - SCEGGS Darlinghurst and TARA Anglican School for Girls, and competed at the IPSHA and IGSSA Gymnastics Carnivals held on 22-23 October at Rooty Hill.
 
Special mention to :
 
      TARA Foundation 1 Team placed 2nd overall in Division 2;
      SCEGGS Foundation 2 Team placed 4th overall in Division 2;
      To all of our Level 5, Level 6 and Level 7 (SCEGGS and TARA) gymnasts - All placed in the top 10 for all apparatus'; and
      SCEGGS IGSSA Reprsentative Team placed 3rd overall in Division 2!
 
In addition, congratulations to all gymnasts who competed at the RG Levels 3-6 Junior State Championships held on 24-25 October at Rooty Hill. The girls performed with passion, poise, diligence and determination.
 
Special mention in Individual Placings :
 
      Hanna Kebede (Level 3 Sub Junior) placed 2nd in Hoop, 1st in Ball, 1st in Clubs and 1st overall in NSW in 2015;
      Sally Webster (Level 3 Sub Junior) placed 2nd in Clubs;
      Alisa Millar (Level 3 Junior) placed 1st in Ball, 2nd in Clubs and 2nd overall in NSW in 2015;
      Caitlin Bernardo (Level 3 Junior) placed 5th in Clubs;
      Jesse Kidd (Level 6 Senior) placed 5th in Hoop, 4th in Ball, 5th in Clubs and 3rd overall in NSW in 2015;
      Stephanie Peacock (Level 6 Senior) placed 3rd in Hoop and 6th overall in NSW in 2015.         
 
Team Event Placings :
 
      Level 3 Sub Junior Team (Cassandra Davies, Serena Lam, Hanna Kebede, Sally Webster and Janice Ye) placed 1st overall;      
      Level 3 Junior Team (Caitlin Bernardo, Mia Culpin and Alisa Millar) placed 5th overall; and

The peronal achievements and results from this hugely competitive invitational have been very pleasing, and the coaching team are very proud of all gymnasts.
 
      Hanna Kebede (Level 3 Sub Junior) placed 1st in Ball, 3rd in Clubs and 3rd overall (out of 28 gymnasts!);
      Sally Webster (Level 3 Sub Junior) placed 6th in Hoop, 6th in Ball and 6th overall (out of 28 gymnasts!);
      Mia Culpin (Level 3 Junior) placed 5th in Hoop;
      Caitlin Bernardo (Level 3 Junior) placed =6th in Ball;
      Alexandra Slater (Level 6 Junior) placed 6th in Clubs;
      Madelynne Chan (Level 6 Junior) placed 4th in Ball;
